FASHIONABLY HEALTHY EMPOWERMENT SERIES
The Fashionably Healthy Empowerment Series is a dynamic, community-centered initiative powered by Friendship That Gives, designed to inspire holistic wellness through the intersection of health, culture, and style. This interactive series creates safe spaces for impactful conversations, panel discussions, and hands-on experiences that empower individuals to prioritize their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
From addressing chronic illness awareness—such as Amyloidosis and Parkinson’s Disease—to elevating voices within underserved communities, Fashionably Healthy explores how our external presentation can reflect internal healing. Presented by Friendship That Gives, this unique runway experience pays homage to the evolution of church fashion—from hats and gloves of the past to today’s modern spiritual style statements.
More than just a fashion show, A Night of Fashion is a visual storytelling event, celebrating the legacy, dignity, and identity of Black church culture while raising awareness and funding for Amyloidosis and Parkinson’s Disease. Through curated runway scenes, powerful performances, and special tributes, guests are guided through decades of sacred style that have empowered generations to show up bold, beautiful, and unashamed.
Proceeds from this unforgettable night directly support individuals and families impacted by these rare and often overlooked health conditions—turning fashion into a vehicle for healing and hope.

The We Are One: One Heart, Many Seasons Couples Empowerment Retreat is a transformative, soul-nourishing experience curated by Friendship That Gives to reignite connection, strengthen bonds, and empower couples through every season of love.
This intentionally designed retreat is more than a getaway—it’s a sacred space for couples to grow, heal, and celebrate their unique journey together.
