March 31, 2026 – Friendship That Gives, a North America-based nonprofit organization committed to empowering communities through advocacy, education, and impactful engagement, is proud to announce a global strategic partnership with Amyloidosis Africa, a leading advocacy organization based on the African continent.
This partnership brings together two mission-driven organizations dedicated to addressing the urgent and often overlooked challenges associated with Amyloidosis—a rare but serious disease that disproportionately impacts underserved and underrepresented communities, including those of African descent.
Under the leadership of John Dawod, Amyloidosis Africa has been instrumental in raising awareness, fostering education, and advocating for improved healthcare access across Africa. Together with Friendship That Gives, both organizations will work collaboratively to expand global awareness, promote early detection, and advance equitable healthcare solutions.
